JEREMY SINK

NAGOYA, JAPAN

Jeremy and his family currently serves with Mission to the World’s church planting team in Nagoya, Japan. MTW is the global missions arm of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Since the denomination does not have a centralized mission budget, they rely on the Holy Spirit to lead individual families and church congregations to support them on a monthly or annual basis.

CHUCK ASKEW

NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY (NCSU) & MEREDITH COLLEGE

Chuck Askew is the campus minister for Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at North Carolina State University and Meredith College. Chuck is from Atlanta, Georgia, became involved with RUF at the University of Florida and has been involved in campus ministry ever since. Chuck went to Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS and graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree. While there, he met his lovely wife, Lauren, from Syracuse, New York, who was in the Marriage and Family Therapy program of RTS. After graduating in 2005, Chuck and Lauren moved to Conway, South Carolina, to start the RUF at Coastal Carolina University. After four years at Coastal, Chuck was called to serve as the RUF campus minister at North Carolina State University and has been running with the Pack since 2009. Lauren and Chuck have three children, Charlie, Norah, and Sam.


 

SIMON STOKES

RUF AT UNC CHAPEL HILL

Simon Stokes is a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary, where he received two Master’s degrees: one for divinity and the other for counseling. Originally, he hails from Dothan, Alabama and graduated in 2006 from Emory University where he pursued a degree in International Studies. After college, Simon worked as an RUF intern at Auburn University. It was here that he developed a heart for college students, as well as decided to enter vocational ministry. Simon is married to Katie, who grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and received a degree in graphic design from Auburn University in 2008. Simon loves books, coffee, and working in his yard. He and Katie have two little girls, Emory and Caroline, and a son, Peter.

 

JEFF RHEA

CRU AT EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY (ECU)

Hey! We’re Jeff and Lindsey Rhea and have been serving with Cru here at ECU since June of 2012. Jeff went to NC State and received a degree in Bio-Chem with a minor in Nutrition. Jeff is the Cru Team Leader at ECU. Lindsey became a Christian in college through the ministry of Cru at Clemson. We have been married since July of 2008 and have three Kiddos- Faith, Timmy, and Andrew. Jeff enjoys working out, Lindsey does not. Lindsey enjoys Chai Lattes, Jeff does not. We both love to read!
