WELCOME TO CHRIST OUR HOPE!

Do you have hope?

Christ Our Hope is not just the name of our church, it is a reminder of our core conviction. We capture this in our church’s purpose statement: to Know and Offer the Power of Christ’s Hope. With this as our purpose, all that we seek in and outside of our community is the increase of Christ’s hope in transformed lives.

We have a specific vision of who we want to be as Christians and as a church.
There are three phrases that capture this vision.
We want to be men and women who are:

Conformed to Christ

That means we are students of God’s Word depending on the Holy Spirit to grow us more and more into people who resemble the grace and truth of the Lord. Our Reformed faith heritage is full of resources to assist us as Christians, as spouses, as parents, as neighbors and as friends.

Courageous in Life

Our culture has its beauty and its horrors. As with every age, there is lostness in relationships and in structures. As lights in the world and salt to the nations, we must be people who are confident in the Lord and courageous in advocating for Him and for others.

Compelled to Serve

The apostle Paul tells us that it is by grace we are saved, through faith, and this is not our own work but is a gift of God in Christ. And what do the “saved” do in the world? They are to be doing “good works” (Ephesians 2:8-10). Our Lord did not come to be served but to serve and it is our goal to be like Him in our community.
